I then updated when play services fix icon was added and ran it way instructed. After reboot, play services didn't work still. I have gone to program files and selected remix uninstal.exe and it tells me it isn't installed so i haven't found a way to uninstall that is a quick and easy process.

I have an old Dell inspiron N5030 that i did fresh install using flash drive of remix version 2.0.403 which has play services working. Same version as on my HP.
