I have tried putting hotmail account in as a POP account. Does not sync -- I can delete from within my outlook and it stays on hotmail server and therefore across other devices. Cannot get to set up as a Microsoft exchange server account (need to know server name). The Outlook hotmail plugin is only for windows version, not Mac. Spending hours of my life deleting the same frisking email multiple times!;) PS Sync for hotmail email works fine on my iPhone 4S (did through hotmail set up option not pop). Don't care about calendar or contacts sync. Any help so appreciated.

On Mac, Outlook does download all mail from Hotmail, however the accounts are not sync'd. In other words Deletions Reads are not sync'd, as they are using Outlook on Windows.
