This identifies another issue. I typed Troubleshooting as advised and hit enter. When I did, nothing happens.

Eventually, I opened Settings and typed troubleshoot in the search bar and hit enter. Under Hardware and sound, I selected Configure a device. This pulled up a box where I was able to run a Troubleshoot on Hardware and Devices. It identifies 'Problem detected with Unknown USB Devise (Port Reset Failed).

Location is Port_#0004.Hub#0010. This also shows up as an issue in my Device Manager. I am unsure that this is the cause to my problem however. I am using a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse with a single Logitech receiver plugged into a USB port on the laptop and the mouse is working fine. I also have a 10 port USB hub plugged into USB port #2 on the laptop. Nothing is plugged into the third port on the laptop.
