Can't Find Plot Style In Autocad For Mac

A plot style table in AutoCAD is a collection of plot styles assigned to a layout or to the Model tab. There are two types of AutoCAD plot style tables: color-dependent plot style tables and named plot style tables. Color-dependent AutoCAD Plot Style Tables (CTB) Color-dependent plot style tables use an object’s color to determine characteristics such as lineweight. Every red object in a drawing is plotted the same way.

Plot styles may be assigned to layers in the AutoCAD 2000 layer dialog box shown below. To change the plotted appearance of all objects on a layer, make the objects' plot styles 'By Layer', and click on the plot style of the layer you are working with.

When you use a named plot style table, objects that have the same color may be plotted differently, based on the plot style assigned to the object. A named plot style table can contain as many or as few plot styles as required. Named plot styles can be assigned to objects or layers, just like any other property. The AutoCAD Plot Style Manager You can use the Plot Style Manager to add, delete, rename, copy, and edit plot style tables. Both color-dependent and named plot style tables are stored in the Plot Styles folder by default.

Hi, I'm having trouble printing to PDF from my autocad on OS X. I need to print to PDF to place into my indesign layouts etc. I have 2 options to get a PDF when I print 1 - Print via Adobe PDF 9 Printer which I believe uses distiller 2 - once the print dialogue is open, click the PDF button (bottom left) and save as PDF Both have problems. 1 - No file is created - it doesn't ask for a destination or file name but says complete 2 - The saved PDF is very poor quality I have tried the file on my friends mac and it still has the exact problems, but then on the CAD studio's PC's which as default have a plotter installed named DWG to PDF which works flawlessly.
