Settings For Mac 10 Sierra Xerox Workcentre 6605
All, Has anyone found the right setting in the PPD for Xerox WorkCentre printers to set the '1-Sided Print' setting shown in this screenshot? I've tried making a custom preset and exploring the options that get stored in the plist, but none of the Xerox options that get stored seem to relate to duplexing or single-sided printing. There is a single apple key titled 'com.apple.print.PrintSettings.PMDuplexing = 1', but I'm not sure how I would set that on a mass-scale. - Mike _____________________________________________________ MacEnterprise, Inc Subscription Options and Archives Jim Kirkum 24/2/2014, 6:46 น. When you have that option set, do you get the checkbox to make it two-sided next to the copies box?

The behavior seems to have changed from Mt. If I use a *preset* in Mavericks with the '2-Sided Printing' option set to '1-Sided', OS X shows me the checkbox next to the number of copies to make it two-sided if I want to override it for a particular job. That's nice because it keeps the user from having to dig deep into the print options to override it for a particular job. When set via CUPS or lpoptions, I don't seem to get the checkbox for two-sided printing. Here's with a preset (notice the preset name): Here's with the option set via CUPS but using the system default preset: The duplexing mode in both cases is set properly to '1-Sided', but in one instance OS X shows a Two-Sided checkbox, and in the other, it doesn't. I don't know if this is a bug or what, but in Mt. Lion, all of our printers seemed to default to single-sided and OS X would show that checkbox to allow you to print two-sided.
Now, in Mavericks, they seem to default to two-sided and the only way to change it is deep within the printer options. Thanks, - Mike Jim Kirkum 24/2/2014, 13:50 น. Under 10.9: When I set the option through CUPS web interface (or through manually editing the PPD - same result), thereıs no two-sided checkbox when under the system default preset.
It is also not showing a two-sided checkbox when I am create a custom preset when set using the CUPS web interface or through manual editing. It does have the pulldown option under Xerox features as in your screenshot, however.
