Good Small Games For Mac
Why are all my excel for mac files coming up as read only. The problem with Eroge for Macs is not that they are a small minority in Japan as at one time they held a 20% market share and in 2007 OS X outsold windows in Japanese OS sales. The problem lies in the fact that most Japanese macs are used in business and Apple really doesn't have a middle of the road or Gaming Mac.
Best Apps for Kids Age 5–8 The best mobile apps for kindergartners and early elementary schoolers cover a spectrum of entertainment and educational offerings. At this age, socialization and creativity are key -- and believe it or not, there are several quality apps for that!
The three types are laptops,Imacs and Mac Pro the first two can not be used for high end games and the last one is overkill as it's a sever/workstation system. The lower installation base is exactly the problem for any Eroge on Macs. It doesn't matter much that Mac OS X outsold Windows, when most users get Windows through buying a new PC and I'm certain that you'll find Mac OS on less then 10% of all machines. I fail to find any statistics on the JP market however.

Also 95% of all Eroge require next to no processing power, there is absolutely no problem to run them on laptops/weak/old PCs. Those games can be easily played in virtual machines.
Developing for more then 1 plattform simply requires more time, knowledge and costs. Eroge game companies are rather small and unless their programmer is mac-fan it's unlikely they'll put up with all the additional work and support to get it run on a relatively unimportant plattform. .Apple really doesn't have a middle of the road or Gaming Mac. Visual novels are perhaps the least demanding type of PC game these days and make up a large portion of the eroge market. I'm not completely sure on the spec difference between PCs and Macs, but if cheap PC laptops like the ASUS Eee PC with it's rather unimpressive technical specs can easily surpass the minimum system requirements of many eroge (coming around the 1Ghz point on many eroge's 'recommended spec' even) then I don't see why even the old iMac G4s released 6-8 years should have trouble spec-wise.
Then again, your general point on Macs not being a well-supported gaming platform is definitely true. Financially it doesn't seem to make much sense to port it to the Mac, same reason why games in general are PC-only. DVDPG would probably fill that gap as it is.
