Hi, I have an issue with playing video files in Powerpoint 2016 for Mac machine only, although I have chosen to automatically play the videos file it never play. Tried small size of video files to big sizes, same issue. Created many new presentations with sample slides and adding videos it works only on mouse click even if automatic is checked. One thing is weird if while creating new powerpoint 2016 slides slideshow plays the video if my file is not saved, the issue actually occurs as soon as I save the file anywhere.

On video slide, set to auto advance after 2 seconds. This assumes the video is the only animation and it is going to start playing automatically. PowerPoint will go to the video slide, then the video will start playing and trigger to auto advance to next slide after 2 seconds, but it cannot do so until the video is done playing, so it waits for the video to finish.
