Keyboard Controls For Dolphin Emulator Gamecube Are Not Working Mac

I'm trying to map my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on my mac so it will work with the Dolphin Gamecube Emulator. I have seen this done, so I know it's possible. I don't know how many that are familiar with it but it makes you able to run gamecube/wii games on the computer but when i play, i automaticly use a wii remote according to the dolphin emulator and i don't know how to explain this but the pointing marker from the wii remote is a little bit below my.

This tutorial will show you how to use your keyboard as a controller for dolphin on a macbook pro, macbook air or a regular mac desktop. These steps also work on a windows computer. This is how to use a keyboard with dolphin emulator. These are by far the best emulated wii remote settings that I have used for dolphin. I hope you enjoy this tutorial!

This video is for educational purposes only. With dolphin you can also get great Nintendo wii games such as New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, Wii Sports Resort, Metroid Prime 3, Kirby's epic yarn and many more!!! Ok, I tried both the 3.0 and 3.5 versions of Dolphin. Still no luck. Like I said before, Dolphin does recognize the keyboard and the controller, but it ceases to function when a game is opened. Game works just fine on it. Its just there's no way to control the game itself.

When the 'press any button' screen appears(gamecube), there isn't any way of getting past that until it times out and continues, and it goes to the game's start screen. If anyone has time please look into this problem. I have looked at and considered past comments and have tried them.

Ok, so i think this is the first time i've been able to post a fix i worked out myself! So proud of myself. Onedrive plugin for mac. I was having these issues, and through a desperate need to play super mario sunshine i found a fix. (on a macbook at least) • Clear all the settings • In the gamepad setup, select the device as 'Keyboard/0/.'

• For each key, instead of using the auto detect (which won't work as you have keybpard selected as input) - right click on the button you want to define, choose input/0/USB Joystick (or whatever your gamepad is) as the device in the configure control popup • find the value you want to set it to. Remember to press select before pressing ok (i forgot this so many times and it drove me crazy) • start game and enjoy.

A note - i found it way easier to use the auto-detect, save those settings, then flick between them and the new one i was setting up. It still took a bit of time, but well worth it for that sweet mario goodness:). Hi friends, Finally able to crack it down. We are changing the config settings outside. But there is one Wiimote settings also. I guess its for Wii games. Anyways, so we have to set the settings there and not GCPAD.

Steps: Click on Wiimote button Wiinote 1 -> Emulated Wiinote from dropdown. Then select Configure. You see here its default selected to Keyboard/Mouse. Now refresh if required and select your controller. Things will look familiar now.

Set the buttons with your controller. Particle illusion for mac trial download. I would say atleast only those which were already set as default. Eg: I set all in Buttons, first 4 in IR, left/right in Tilt, same button for Shake X/Y/Z, and all 4 in D-pad. SNAPSHOT attached.

I guess similar for player 2 and so on. Ok with the help of above I finally got my controller working great.

It's a generic ps2 wireless through a usb adapter that has 2 ports. I cannot get the 2nd working. It can read it set to joystick,,, but cannot get the trigger lights to read it below like on.

I tried messing around with the.ini to set device 2 to 7 since was 6. Then 8/ 10 / 12/ nope would be awesome to play 2 player. Maybe I need to get a wired controller? But it sees the controller presses???

I think it's the ID # but I have no idea???? MAC / version 3.5 - since all 4.0.x cannot load backend still. Any word on this? I miss my gamecube. I'll probably buy one.
