A 3rd Party Wireless Mouse For Mac Without Usb Needed
Apr 24, 2017 - Hi, I've to buy a wireless mouse for my new mac book pro with usb type c. If it doesn't work without receiver, which mousewith also orizzontal scroll advises. Mice that doesn't require a receiver to be paired with your Mac.
I recently left my receiver at a friend's house who lives in another country and she'll be mailing it to me but in the mean time, I really need to use my mouse for some designs I need to do as my touch pad doesn't do the job properly. Is there a way that I could connect my wireless mouse to my computer without it's receiver? The model is 'logitech m310'. Could I somehow turn my phone (lg g2) or something into it's receiver so that when I connect my phone to my computer my mouse will be able to work? Or do you have any other ideas?
I just really need to get my mouse connected to my computer or else I'm screwed. Help please!!!:(.
I've scoured the internet for a USB-C mouse. At this point it's like looking for Bigfoot. I hoped I could choose from either wireless or wired, by design or brand. I understood there wouldn't be a large selection, but surely a few companies are producing these. I know, I know. 'Get a dock or dongle!' I can hear it now.
Though I'd prefer to avoid this if possible. Below is the only USB-C mouse I could find and I hope it's not the only one. I know you've said you'd rather not use a dongle at all, but something like or could work very well with mice you already have, and since they are both pretty small, you can leave them attached to your mouse's wire at all times unless you don't need it. I use one with my Samsung Galaxy S8, and it allows me to use any usb device flawlessly with my phone. Mice, keyboards, and controllers alike. They are very portable and much more convenient than a dock. OP wrote: 'I've scoured the internet for a USB-C mouse. At this point it's like looking for Bigfoot.
Before Bungie released HALO Combat Evolved on the Mac, they had a great game called Oni. Originally for OS 9, there was a patch for OS X released, but I think this required the OS 9 version to have been installed first. I am not sure where you can find it now. If you’re like me, then you prefer the games from the PowerPC era. Not simply because they were coded for the architecture, but rather that this was the best era in Mac and PC gaming in my opinion. The reason I feel this way is that the games from this era are more raw and sim. Games for mac g4s. Alrighty, I got the mini G4 running just the way I want it to. Loaded all my PPC programs on it and some games too. How well does it handle gaming?

Fearless prediction: It's going to be a while before we see many 3rd party mice with USB-c connectors (instead of USB-a connectors). Simple reason: The overwhelming majority of people in need of such mice have computers that still have USB-a connectors. Who is going to bring to market a product that will require an adapter for most computers that it will plugged into? I'm not saying there won't be any USB-c mice (see the link in reply #9 above).
